Students are welcome to ask questions to the instructor as well as to discuss with other students regarding the assignments and the course in general.

Suggsted course improvements
Please write suggestions to improve the course including classes, homeworks, projects and whatever you think might be improved.
I would suggest mentioning suggested readings out of the book. Not a lot of people read the book, and its very simple to figure out what section of the book you are covering, but if you start assigning readings or at least suggesting them, I think people will start to realize that they actually do have a text book.
Although this is not how the class is set up, I think the recitation should be mandatory. Obviously this would have to change how the class itself is scheduled, as it would become a 5 credit hour class rather than 3, I think the extra examples and hands on experience helps a lot.
Thanks for the comment. I can explicitly mention the chapter of the book we are covering, even if I think it is often pretty straight forward and is already listed in the syllabus.
Regarding the recitation, I would like to make it mandatory, but this cannot be decided by the individual faculty and should be addressed in the organization of the CS studies as a whole.
